Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director (PRN).
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical leadership for utilization management and medical
review activities
Perform case reviews and appeals for all health plans
Assist in planning and establishing goals to improve quality and
cost-effectiveness of care
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy, board certified in a
primary care specialty or other relevant specialty
Previous experience within a managed care organization is
preferred
Coursework in Health Administration, Health Financing, Insurance,
and/or Personnel Management is preferred
Experience treating or managing care for a culturally diverse
population is preferred
Current Hawaii state medical license without restrictions
