  • Cardiac Tele RN needed in the Phoenix area.
  • Accepting Candidates without license in hand.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have Level I Trauma Experience
    • Cerner EMR preferred
    • Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam Prior to Acceptance, 80% passing score - 48 hours to complete
    • Experience with post-op Cardiovascular Surgery Patients is highly recommended, but not required
    • Must be able to interpret common rhythms.
      • Schedule Information
      • self-scheduling allowed as requests
      • shifts balanced with scheduler
      • 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule block
      • 2 day unit orientation
      • 12 hour nights
      • 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks
        • Unit Specific Information
        • UNIT: Cardiac Tele - Tower 7
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:3 or 1:4
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients include CABG, MVR, STEMI, HF, Fundoplication, VATS Decordication, vascular repair
        • RNs are required to titrate drips
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone
        • Resource/Charge nurse ideally does not take patients
        • 1 PCT for 16 beds
        • RT Equipment: Cpap, BiPap, HFNC
          • Additional Details
          • travel teams must have their own cars
          • DAY 1 PASS FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
          • if Clinical Recommends, manager to review before offering
          • Travelers going to St. Joseph main campus and/or St. Joseph Westgate campus
          • The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in maintaining sterile field.
