• Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Must have skills validated in hospital's SIMs lab.
  • Job Details
  • Adult ICU Pods nurse position available.
  • Level I Trauma experience required.
  • Nurses will complete SIMs Lab for certain procedures.
  • Training on lifts, restraints, and wound care provided.
  • Candidates must be competent in maintaining sterile field.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years ICU experience required.
    • Experience in 600+ bed teaching facility required.
    • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
    • Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance.
    • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is necessary.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts (7-7).
      • 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks required.
      • Holiday rotation with core staff.
      • Floating required amongst all ICU and MedSurg/Tele units.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • MICU, SICU, TICU nurse-patient ratios are 1:1-2.
        • Intensivist in-house 24/7.
        • Responsible for ventilator management (Cervo I, jets, oscillators).
        • Must be able to perform bedside procedures (e.g., bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, hemodialysis catheter placement).
          • Additional Details
          • Unit specific orientations provided.
          • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
          • Medical Solutions Pre-Screens followed by an AUTO OFFER if clinical requirements are met.
