Pay Rate: $21-22/Hour


CornerStone Staffing seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Title Processor - Mortgage to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing title reports and collaborating with various departments to resolve title issues, ensuring properties can successfully proceed with the foreclosure process.

Key Responsibilities:

Review title reports and identify any discrepancies or issues.
Analyze date-down endorsements provided by the Title Company.
Ensure accuracy in Affidavits of Authority.
Verify the chain of title, particularly assignment accuracy.
Review bankruptcy cases as needed.
Interpret title chains and parcel maps effectively.
Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage documents, loan documents, appraisals, and related materials.
Work efficiently with Excel spreadsheets.
Communicate with clients via multiple platforms and websites.
Perform general office tasks, including copying, filing, and answering phones.
Problem-solve and work independently under minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or higher.
Experience: Previous experience in the mortgage industry, foreclosure, escrow, or title is highly preferred.
Skills:Strong computer proficiency and ability to type at least 50 WPM.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures while learning quickly.
Familiarity with mortgage documents, loan documents, and appraisals.
