Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a per diem / prn Echo Technologist for a per diem / prn job in Glendale, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Echo Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Up to 40.00 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Per Diem Echo Tech Per Diem Evenings Position Summary Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist. Special Skills: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills. THE ECHO TECH PER DIEM EVENINGS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
