  • CT Tech position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Weekly Orientations on Mondays, except for holiday weeks.
  • Level I experience required; previous travel experience for ED, Neuro ICU is necessary.
  • CERNER EMR experience required for ED.
  • Travelers must have their own vehicles; parking is assigned to a lot with shuttle service to the facility.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to.
    • Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
    • Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance of a position; maximum attempts is 2.
      • Schedule Information
      • Facility will not consider any contract shorter than 13 weeks.
      • Weekend requirement may vary depending on schedule; not every weekend.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Common cases include Routine CT Exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma cases.
        • Floor specific orientation of at least 1 week with 1/1 orientation.
          • Additional Details
          • ARRT, BLS required; inpatient/ER will always work with another CT technologist.
          • GE scanner and Philips ICT experience required.
          • Unit size: CT Scan department with 5 procedure rooms (2 in ER, 3 in main Radiology department).
          • Charge Nurse: CT supervisor.
          • Fasted pace environment with other CT techs in the same work area for assistance.
