POSITION SUMMARY:-- The Sr. Manager Operations Technology leads
deployment and prioritization strategy to optimize revenue
opportunity within the Residential line of business, evaluates
emerging technologies and implements solutions with minimal impact
to operations. This role will create standardized processes with
emphasis on continuous improvement and implementation of Republic
Services' strategic roadmap, with a focus on Residential strategy,
while also influencing and collaborating with cross-functional
teams to prioritize deployment that incorporates operational
incentives, sales, and government affairs. Additionally, this role
supports other technical initiatives undertaken by the team,
ensuring that projects are delivered to achieve expected business
benefits - on time and on budget.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:--
- Determine existing opportunities for supplemental service fees
within our municipal franchise agreements.
- Research and identify new, faster ways to evaluate municipal
opportunities through use of emerging technologies and determine
viability of new approaches Manages and optimizes Republic
Service's fleet & asset telematics data requirements.
- Work closely with Legal to develop standardized language for
supplemental services fees for use in residential agreements and
coordinate with Sales leadership to enforce adoption in the
field.
- Leverage revenue metrics, sales reporting, operational data and
qualitative feedback to continually refine the deployment
strategy.--
- Work closely with HQ Sales Leadership and Field Marketing to
identify best practices and create tools to support the addition of
new language into existing and new contracts to create additional
revenue opportunities.
- Work with Sales, Billing and Operations in the field to
determine readiness for implementation of supplement service fees
in eligible areas and remove obstacles to revenue capture.
- Provide direction and practical expertise to Field Marketing
for development of standardized communication tools to enhance
revenue capture and adhere to legal requirements.
- Collaborates and reports out to cross functional leadership
within finance, procurement, government affairs, sales, and field
operations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or
apparentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:--
- Minimum of 5 years negotiating municipal contracts within the
Waste Management industry.
- Experience generating revenue and identifying opportunities to
drive additional revenue growth through existing and new
processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation
of best practices.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:--
- Minimum 5 years experience with scalable enterprise-wide
project management
